Bullet "Holes"

Well, say if you shoot a gun, and the bullet hits a wall, would it be possible just to spawn an emmiter, that doesn't face the player, that looks like a bullet hole?

I think it's against the engine or something. You may be able to do it with particles though

This CAN be done with particles i believe.
But i don't advise it as a minigun type of weapon would spawn thousands of those particles in a minute, if not more.

It is possible, there is a script for it.

Well unless is spawns a print sorta thing.
Maybe it could be done! but i don't know!
oh and don't forget the reload or endless ammo for it would crash your server, blockland, addon's, etc.

You can't crash Add-Ons.
You can only crash your server/Blockland.

No, if you crashed your Add-Ons they would all get deleted.

Who says you need 10 particles for 1 bullet hole? And who says the holes have to be there for 5 minutes? :P
But yes, it could result in lag. And it would look strange I think. Especially when you forget to check if it's a player/vehicle/etc - floating bullet holes! :P

Too bad decals don't work in BL. Dunno if Badspot disabled them or if I just did something wrong when I tried them out...

This would be good for Bushido's Sport Rifle. It goes through bricks, giving it reason why there should be a hole.

I kind of get two ideas from this post. The idea of an actual "hole" through where the bullet, hit, or an image like this that appears on the brick, like if you shot 5, 10 etc. bullets they would eventually dissapear.
