I wouldn't say half. Far from it, probably. Atheistic and Non-Theistic are two very different things. Only about 2% - 4% of the world is Atheistic, last time I checked. This, of course though, is in adults that answered it. In teenagers, yes, Atheism seems to becoming prominent and even in younger adults. And though they are the future, nothing can guarantee if they truly believe in such, just as the same with any other belief.

QUESTION:

Should we ban the word "God" in the pledge of allegiance?

Why? Sure, it wasn't in the original piece, but it's been added. If you really don't want to say it, just don't. :o

forget no.

When I saw this I though:
"Because I know, somewhere deep down in my heart, I still love you"

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands. One nation, under ___, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all who aren't black."

Separation of church and state.

okay, something I have gleaned from the posters here:

few people here seem to realise OP is not saying that the world is turning atheist. that is not happening. he is saying that BLOCKLAND is becoming atheist. I hope this helps.
