true, true.

Could an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even that being could not lift it?

that is a mathematically invalid question. that requires x(rock weight) to surpass infinity. this question has no proper answer.

People are starting to realize that a "God" is just no longer an acceptable explanation for existence. It's not logical nor comprehensible. Although I don't mind theistic people, I think it's quite close minded to conclude that everything everywhere was created by a single omni-present, omni-potent "being" which we have yet to explain in detail. Especially when there are much more viable, scientific, solutions to the whole mystery of existence.

But they're omnipotent, shouldn't they still be able to make it?

okay, so you are asking if a guy who can do anything can do something that makes him unable to so something. it is paradox.

Infinity is not just a number, it is a concept.
Technically, infinity is equal to infinity, and can't be changed, and doesn't comply to normal mathematical operations. So you can't say
x=max weight god can lift=infinity
y=x+1
Because infinity is equal to infinity plus one.
Also, a god probably would not actually physically lift an object, rather, manipulate the atoms as to raise the object.

you know this because you chat with god all the time.

Congratulations, you've discovered the omnipotence paradox!

Religious: No.

Believes in God: Yes.

Goes to church: No.

As much as I'd like to disprove religions, I feel that that is an invalid argument, for what I just said.

that does not disprove god, it just makes stuff confusing.  but I digress.

ATHEIST ARE DUM BLUH.

Religious: No.

Believes in God: Yes.

Goes to church: No.
lol enjoy going to hell
