I'd like to build a computer too, but I'm worried about buying something crappy or not doing my research properly and spending money on hardware thats incompatible with other things I buy. Then what will I do? I'LL BE BROKE. D:

Anything you do will work as long as your motherboard's socket type works with the processor and it uses PCI Express and your video card does too.

Anyone ever tried an entirely custom case they built themselves? Would it be possible, so long as you consider heat flow and the placement of hardware?

the case has never really been that interesting to me because as long as everything is top quality, why would I need a case for it? if anything I would wrap it in duct tape to make it indestructible.
