Author Topic: Cats or dogs? (or other)  (Read 1867 times)

So, I have always thought that cats are better than dogs, and as a starting argument, I would like to propose that cats have a natural instinct to use a litter box, you don't need to teach a cat where to stuff, and you sure as hell don't have to take them on walks. Not to mention that many a cat have been trained not only to use a toilet, but to flush after themselves too. Also, cats are fairly intelligent, unlike most dogs, cats can be let to go free without supervision, and be safe, yet not cause a nuisance. If you let a dog out of your house, it will probably go crazy and run circles around your yard, refuse to sit still or to come back in, and at least my dog, will dig though the trash and chase down anything it can find, while if you let a cat out, it will just lay down someplace close to your home. Few cats will eat anything besides their specific food, and those that do, won't try to eat everything in site, as I usually see dogs do.

Anyway, discuss which is best, cats or dogs, I have both and I choose cats.

Dogs.

I only like one of my cats.
And she's the most playful one around.

Dogs.  Cats can be mean.

EWW, GROSS.

Fish. They don't crap on the floor.

Also, most dogs have a horrible stench which you can't wash off, no matter how hard you try.
Though cats often shed more fur.

Cats are lazy forgets that do nothing but make you sad when they die.
Dogs are way more active and will play with you.

I like cats

but i also like my doggy ;3

Fish don't shed, or be lazy. They're the best pets in the planet.

Jesus Christ I hate fish.

My cats are actually really amusing.

My cats are usually amusing and funny. Whenever I would be sick, they'd lay down with me.

I don't know much else to say as I'm pretty tired, but...

Well, they will play with you (It really depends on the cat's... "personality" if that's what you wanna call it), no two cat's I've seen are alike.
