It'd have things like the repairable barricades and instead of the zombies coming continuously there'd be waves, the insta kill power up, the nuke, the double points(and the point system). The random weapon box.

Can be done with events.
In fact, I've played several things similar to this made with events.

Gamemodes usualy use events to make things more interesting so if you can't event you're screwed.
