I want to know if I made this transparent right, can someone tell me how to do a better job?

Use GIMP 2.0 and use the lasso tool. Or you can let me download the picture and do the trans for you.

You could do it for me, but I want to know how to do it myself for future reference

You can try the magic wand + delete key.

Take the picture in construct or destruct light, use the magic wand tool, add an alpha chanle, and cut the white/black out.

Doesn't white work, too?

White makes white.

Eraser makes trans.

Durr.

Magic Wand. Experiment with the tolerance until it deletes all the unwanted parts.

This. The higher the tolerance, the more... uh, lenient, the color can be from the original color. For example if you made it 0 tolerance, it would only select that one color, 100 is every color.

Also you left a shape on the bottom right.

Here's a sloppy trans I did for you. You can touch it up yourself if you want to.

I fyou want to make better things you should use gimp.

Both Paint.NET and GIMP are nearly the same when it comes to controls. And luckily for you, I use both.

In Paint.NET, just use the Magic Wand, and select said background. (It might not select the white clouds though, but listen to further instructions.) After selecting the beackground, set the colour to total transparent. (In the advanced colour selection). And Backspace. The selected material will go trans. Reapeat with other colours.

Also, if you can, give me original image if you want me to take a shot.
