I have this game and i play it sometimes, and today i finally beat it. But, to my suprise, i got an unbelievably bad car, which was disappointing. The ending was bad, everything blew up, and some other Television producer comes in and wreaks everything with bulldozers and Semi trucks. What a great ending.
But i found Split/Second to have some of the most fun, exciting, intense gameplay in all of the racing games i have played. At first, the Concept of driving around a track with a bunch of random explosions didn't seem at that great, but it really made it fun.
When you are not doing very well, it is still very fun, because you are blowing stuff up. Unlike the other racing games where you get frustrated when you do bad.
Split/Second was set up to be a TV show, where you are a driver. They have set up the track so that you can trigger explosions.
