Author Topic: Fable III better than Fable I  (Read 1747 times)

Fable 2 certainly was better than Fable 1 imo, but both were quite good games.
I hope they improved the "buttonmashing" combat somehow.

BOSS FIGHT
SMASH Y
???
PROFIT

I love Fable because of its story. It isn't just a second game that has its own story (Fable II), it's connected with the previous one, that's what makes it interesting. I mean, in Fable II there's Wraithmarsh that was Oakvale in Fable I and there are books you can buy in Fable II that tell you the story about things and stuff that happened to Albion in the past..

How much I love such things! That's why WoW is actually interesting for me as well, not the game itself that is, but its story.

I'm planning on getting it for PC.
Ah sweet it's coming out for pc?

I disagree. Mainly for the boss fights. Fable 2 had the most anti-climatic final boss...

This is what keeps me interested as well. I love WoW's lore.

I'm looking forward to it.

I got hooked on Fable 1, and fell in love with that. It was pretty perfect, as far as I cared, other than a lack in customability and different items.

Fable 2 took it a step further, with a longer story line, more side-quests, more reppurcusions of your past actions, more characters, clothes, items, skills. The removal of dying was also nice, since in Fable 1, if you died without any Ressurection Vials (Or whatever they're called) you would die. This time you just get scars.

Fable 3 looks very good, but I personally, am disliking the loss of Skills. I loved the concept of having to work up your skills, spend them on your abilities and choose what you wanted at the time.
I haven't been following exactly what's going into this game, but I certainly hope it will be good.

I want more quests, more re-actions from your actions, more customizing, the ability to work multiple spells together, plenty of storyline and backstory (Which, as WhoDa? said, was one of the best things from Fable 2).
I'd also like it if you're able to have events in your storyline, effected by what you did in Fable 2. If on the Xbox, you should be able to have it read the events of your previous F2 character, and have that introduced into your F3 character.
Since you're the son/daughter of your F2 character, if they were an evil person, that should come out in your immediate life. If your F2 character was corrupt throughout his life (Not just when you start your F3 story), then your character should start with more money or his family be automatically dis-liked by followers, until you change their views.

I guess in total, I want it to have all it did in Fable 2, and then improve those aspects. Make the game much bigger!
I'm looking forward eagerly.

I agree with this. I liked the build up towards fighting Lucien, but when it comes down to it, you just shoot him once. And if you don't shoot him, bloody Reaver does instead, ruining the entire story-line.

I also hope Chesty is in Fable3.
<3 Chesty.

ahahahahahahahhaahaha they have a town called Mourningwood in fable 3.
also, to the above poster, they are making it so you import data from your fable 2 game.

Nono..
What if it were...
...
I have nothing, that's just funny.

Should I or someone else make a Fable III megathread??

I also like the fact that they're using lots of well known English Actors.
It's nice to see English games celebrating themselves being English.

I shall it's my beef
