I get most things except, building and profile picture.

Profile pictures are 75x75 pixels, you can change it in the Profile>Forum Profile Information section (either an internet upload, or from your computer).
The game has a tutorial to help you get started. Building requires practice, I'd suggest finding some good builders and learning from what they've built.

To upload a profile picture, simply navigate to your profile page, found by clicking the button above. Once there, on the left of the page, you'll see something labeled, "Forum Profile Information." On that page, there will be an area where you can upload a picture to use as your profile picture. The picture must be 75x75 pixels, or else it may not display properly, especially if it's a GIF image, in which case the image's animation will not play.

Press "Enter" on the numpad, using the numpad keys to rotate, press "b" to open a brick menu, and 1-9 to select bricks to use. (Also try to build on baseplates so people don't yell at you)
