Did anyone actually read the update? Because it clearly stated that all weapons were obtainable by means of gameplay. The only thing buying them gets you is a custom name and possible a paint job.

Also lol at the people that keep hating on TF2 because "ZOMG ITS RPG NOW"

If Valve didn't get money though, they would go bankrupt and then there would be no TF2 would there.

Hopefully they won't pull this stunt again with any future games. Because if I have to pay an addition 10 dollars in Portal 2 to use a Portal gun or swing a crowbar in Half-life I will go mad.

Those are actual games, not multiplayer only games.

Or pay 15 bucks to throw a pipebomb in l4d2 or pay 20 bucks to get to the next level in half life ep.3(when/if it comes out)

HL2 ep3 is coming out in 2011 or 2012. Expect an announcement about it at the least in 2011.

Ya'll are gettin yeer panties in a bunch. The purchasing of items didn't affect gameplay except for some people get a red gun instead of a gray one now, and they got it a little faster than you did. Valve makes money from the pathetic rich people that would actually pay, and you continue your life. What's the problem here? Does Medal of Honor suck because it gives players a LMG earlier than other people for preordering it?
