Author Topic: loving Windows 7, How Does It Work?  (Read 2015 times)

Well I've been using a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 for a few years without the proper drives and it works fine. Just recently Windows 7 decides to send me a notification related to updates and it's like, "Hey we found drivers for you mouse! kthxbai." So I decided to install the drivers and I don't notice a difference with my mouse but it did add a configuration software that I haven't bothered touching yet. Is there a reason to as why it took Windows 7 about four years to find proper drivers?

Windows 7 hasn't been out for four years quite yet.

System 32 makes windows work.

Why are you whining about this?

Oh no, I have the correct and/or updated drivers now

This is disgusting
I'm going to complain to blockland.

thats some prime detective skills you got there

It was a rough estimate.

I'm not complaining that I have the correct drivers now. I'm complaining that it took so long for Windows 7 to find the correct drivers. I really had no intentions of getting the proper drivers for my mouse but still. I'm just as curious as to why it took so long for it to finally detect that.

Maybe you should try asking microsoft.

I'd rather not be put on hold for three hours.

When you first used the mouse it probably silently did the drivers but they were basic. Now, it wants to update them to something better so it decides to do it. I think if you want to go back to how it was before there's something where you find the mouse in the bit where it shows all of your USB things you click properties and somewhere there's a Roll Back option. Click it then it should go back to the way it was before.  Not that you want go back though probably.

I have a simular mouse, and it did that. Mine actually came with an CD.

Logitech gives you an update when there are new mouse drivers. o3o

Ah I see. So it was an update? Not just new drivers?

You sure have a lot to worry about in your life. :o

The Windows OS was made specifically not to work. It was made to be overly complicated and to take years to learn, or at least three of four books. Besides the massive registry, it features a command prompt, a run prompt, different file locations holding different files and DLLs which keep Windows alive.

The Mac OS is made for babies who cannot deal with the Windows OS.

Linux is made for smart babies would cannot deal with either corrupt OS' and end up working hard reading books on coding in order to avoid them.

I hope this guide has helped you.
