You lowered the bronze shortsword too? D: Now it will be impossible for low levels to kill anyone.

The server went down??

It's back.

For some reason it was at Slate.

one bad thing about it crashing : WE LOST OUR FARMS :c

Refugee from derma

I'm at the inn at venote

I think you should release this, its very decent and should be used as a replacement to Ibans City rpg.

Look at how out of control and stupid this gets with people who aren't morons running it, then say that again with a straight face.

I bet you can't guess what reaction gets you put in the loony ward!

The only thing I would use it for would be a reference. Having 50 servers with this mod would be horrible. THe one server is already enough.

Jimmg is a friend and blocked him self in my castle again.

 /agree.
He was raiding Oloni in World 1 while i was the only one fighting and all we had was a tower. He would waltz into the tower and pwn me 5 times before i got him. He had full pink armor and a black sword, i had iron armor and sword... such a troll.

--Just because two nations aren't at war doesn't mean one can't take pity on the other and STOP--

FORGOT : Oh, and zack, can you add something that prevents two people with their levels too far apart from attacking each other, to prevent this from happening again?

How about you only release it to some people, and not people who go "CAN I PLZ HAVE IT I REALLY NEED IT PLZPLZ"

I have been playing DRPG for a while and have found some major problems that I think everyone agrees about. I also have some potential solutions.

People gain too much money during war:
 - Part of the problem is the masses of wealth nations have, but I think it would be better if the amount of money you gain was a lot less, and flatcapped at something reasonable, like 5000 plastic.

Way too many people have high level items:
 - People need to stop handing out items like candy, but since that will never happen...
 - People should only be able to equip or pick up items that they can gather the resources for, or are within ten levels of doing so. e.g. To equip black iron, you need a mining level of 90 or greater. While this may not be very realistic, it would definitely stop it and force people to play the game right.

Shops sell materials:
 - The only materials ANY shop should be selling are copper, tin, and oak, if that. On top of that, no shop should sell all three of those, you should have to travel to different nations to buy all of them.
 - The other solution is to prevent people from buying resources, once again, base on the level used to gather that resource. Want to buy black iron? You need a higher mining level.

Bots / gaining levels while AFK:
 - Add some sort of AFK kicker, don't move for 5 minutes (unless you're crafting), kick. I understand that some people can still make bots that move, but I'm not sure you can do much about that.
 - NOT THE SOLUTION: Reset and make the game harder for everybody else. That just encourages people to do this more, because it becomes the only reasonable way.

Nations with weird perks:
 - Not as major, but it's annoying when the mining nation of Derma has no mining perk. Nations should be limited to only certain perks.

Lack of help feature:
 - Add one with some general help and ALL of the /commands.

Chat spam:
 - Limit people to 1 line per 5 seconds or something, but don't do any flood thing. Oops, you accidentally only waited 4.9 seconds, wait 10 more.

Donation spam:
 - Limit people to like 1 donation per 30 seconds or more.

More Stuff

Crafting infinite loops:
 - People just make money and experience infinitely off of bronze and other low level things. They shouldn't. They should lose money at low levels, and only gain it at very high levels.

Farming = millionaire:
 - I'm told you're balancing it.

Even More Stuff

The help feature cont.:
 - Add the command /help that tells you to bind the key for more help.

I have been playing DRPG for a while and have found some major problems that I think everyone agrees about. I also have some potential solutions.

I don't know stuff about this.
Way too many people have high level items:
 - People need to stop handing out items like candy, but since that will never happen...
 - People should only be able to equip or pick up items that they can gather the resources for, or are within ten levels of doing so. e.g. To equip black iron, you need a mining level of 90 or greater. Level requirements should be something with Melee.
Buying resources is okay to me, some limits like, only 1 a shop is also good to me.
Even though i use it too, yes please.
Nations with weird perks:
 - Not as major, but it's annoying when the mining nation of Derma has no mining perk. Nations should be limited to only certain perks.
Totally agree.
Lack of help feature:
 - Add one with some general help and ALL of the /commands.
HECK YEAH
Chat spam:
 - Limit people to 1 line per 5 seconds or something, but don't do any flood thing. Oops, you accidentally only waited 4.9 seconds, wait 10 more.
I don't really get this?
Donation spam:
 - Limit people to like 1 donation per 30 seconds or more.
Yeah, some limit to that would be good, he kicked/banned some guys because they were doing this, but yeah.
More Stuff

Crafting infinite loops:
 - People just make money and experience infinitely off of bronze and other low level things. They shouldn't. They should lose money at low levels, and only gain it at very high levels.
Guess how i made money and crafting levels.
Epic fail/win.

Farming = millionaire:
 - I'm told you're balancing it.
Farm stealers alert. :C

-Yeah, why not?

Way too many people have high level items:
 - People need to stop handing out items like candy, but since that will never happen...  -Make a rule against it?
 - People should only be able to equip or pick up items that they can gather the resources for, or are within ten levels of doing so. e.g. To equip black iron, you need a mining level of 90 or greater. While this may not be very realistic, it would definitely stop it and force people to play the game right.
-Maybe ;/
Shops sell materials:
 - The only materials ANY shop should be selling are copper, tin, and oak, if that. On top of that, no shop should sell all three of those, you should have to travel to different nations to buy all of them. -Nah. This would make the game a lot harder, you'd have to walk over several mountains just to buy a different resource.
 - The other solution is to prevent people from buying resources, once again, base on the level used to gather that resource. Want to buy black iron? You need a higher mining level. -Sounds better.

Bots / gaining levels while AFK:
 - Add some sort of AFK kicker, don't move for 5 minutes (unless you're crafting), kick. I understand that some people can still make bots that move, but I'm not sure you can do much about that. -Admins need to inspect for bots and actually punish people that use them instead of saying 'yeah whatever'
 - NOT THE SOLUTION: Reset and make the game harder for everybody else. That just encourages people to do this more, because it becomes the only reasonable way. -We need this right now as there's tons of trolls with black swords and pink armor with maximum levels that go around owning everyone else.

Nations with weird perks:
 - Not as major, but it's annoying when the mining nation of Derma has no mining perk. Nations should be limited to only certain perks. -I don't agree with this. This would interfere with a few things - it may not seem useful to you, but it seems useful to the leader.

Lack of help feature:
 - Add one with some general help and ALL of the /commands. -YES! YES! YEEEEEEEEASSSSS!

Chat spam:
 - Limit people to 1 line per 5 seconds or something, but don't do any flood thing. Oops, you accidentally only waited 4.9 seconds, wait 10 more. -5 seconds, really? There just needs to be local and global chat, or private chat, or something like that.

Donation spam:
 - Limit people to like 1 donation per 30 seconds or more. -Donation is nice, but yeah, it should be timed. Also, it should be enabled to donate to nations besides your own as a peace offering.

Some of my own:

Teamkilling. Tons of noobs come in, and as soon as they obtain a weapon, they're like 'OMG A SHARP THINGY I GUNNA GO CUT PEEPS UP NO MATTR WUT DEY SAI' and kill every person they lay eyes on *cough* I haz a name *cough*. Killing shouldn't be allowed in towns near the shops and houses, or between members of the same team.

Overleveling. In a before post, and in this one, i've stated that many people own many other people due to serious level mismatches. I say that there needs to be a level fighting cap - if two peoples levels are, say, 20 apart, they can't damage each other.

Wand flying. Yeah, i had some fun with this, but it could be abused. If someone uses wand on someone while on top of them and holding Jump, both players fly up. The fix could be to disable wand and use hammer instead - disabling hammer damage - or to make an entirely new tool for it.

Admin issues. The admins in the server don't do anything about most problems that arise, not even when one person makes a siege on a town with overpowered armor (see above) and is capable of camping in there and killing for 30 minutes. We need more caring and cautious admins.

-snip-
The problem with the level requirements for items in melee: People just base their playing around war, which we all know is lame. The level requirements in resource gathering force people to play the game, and it makes it fair.
