Bionicle loving sucks now. The last good set was the Rakshi, back in the day when the Bionicles were like 30 pieces max. Now they look too busy and complex, it's handicapped.

Its more fun to build it if its complex.

They're basically action figures, the building of them was not the primary aspect.

I've still got a huge box of parts for them, but I completely lost track of the 'story' during the Metru part.

Plus most of them still seem to be made out of really specialised parts which are unusable for anything else.

In my opinion all of them up to and including the Voya Nui ones were badass.

Then it got stupid and I just stopped buying them and reading the lore pretty much.

But yes bionicles were my childhood.

I used to love these. I literally was obsessed with them till I was 8-9. I remember, never seeing the 3rd movie and that was when the obsession ended.

Always loved the white guy, cause he was smart.

The dudes right after the Bohrak. That was the last good version of Bionicle. After the BS with the golden mask, everything started sucking.

I remember all the old ones. They were cool. Now they discontinued it and replaced it with Hero factory.
