I'd love to know. My Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (Love that game ^^) CD has a big scratch on it because it fell out once when I ejected the disc. (The computer was on it's side. I don't know why either. Sorry.)
Does anyone know anything about this?
Excuse me while I go to my local game store to look for a 2$ copy :3

you can buy a resurface thingy for for like 20 bucks
or bring any disk into any video rental place, and they usually charge you like 5 bucks to do it for you.

Toothpaste works, As does putting it in the freezer for a few hours, Which is ok if you just want to get it through the installer (My sim city 4 disks for example)

Apply toothpaste with your fingers on the scratch, just a little bit, wash off the rest, repeat a few times.

Colgate. No other toothpaste works, really.
And don't cream it on the CD. Just a small dab, on a napkin, or towel. Smish around on the towel, or napkin, and rub it on the CD slowly.
