I wouldn't bother using guns on sullivan, they're really weak. Also, when you hit him with a weapon he'll counter it and throw you on the ground. You'd be better off using your unarmed attacks. If you have the haymaker, hit him with that to stun him and then I think you can hit him with whatever you have.
