Author Topic: No one says the pledge?  (Read 8835 times)

Every morning in my 2nd period class we all stand up to say the pledge of allegiance right? So I'm standing there and every single day I'm the only one saying it.

The pledge is unnecessary.

We have to sing the Star Spangled Banner and I'm the only one. Did I mention I sing like a dying whale?

Imo, its a sign of respect for the men and women who have given up their lives to protect our country. To not say it is down right unpatriotic.

I take the Pledge when I'm asked to.

Everyone in my school says the pledge
(Or at least it seems that way)

It's not usually used anymore, as it is a contradiction to the first amendment when it states "One nation under God."

i keep forgetting anytime i make a mother joke, someone posts my avatar.
