Kinect is a supplementary attachment to the xbox. It doesn't have a hard drive, it's just a motion controller.

Regardless, it's a stupid name. The PS3 slim was named so because it was actually really slim. The size of the new xbox is trivial, it's not really "slimmer", it's just smaller. By like a centimeter.

.. You most likely have the 4GB model in which case you need an actual HDD, not some stuffty 4GB built in crap.
Bungie/Microsoft said you need an actual HDD(60GB/120GB) - You would've been better off buying the one bundled with a HDD, it works out cheaper.
