Squad based TDMs

I love when in a big tdm people start making their own "squads" of two or three people, I also like Battlefield Bad Company 2's way of doing this, but let me sum up what I would like.

Team One : Team Two
__________________
Squad One  Squad One
Squad Two  Squad Two

Etc, it auto assigns 3 people per squad and keeps going up to 5 total squads on each team. There should also be squad spawns, so they keep up with their group on respawn.

Anyone feel this is a good idea? Feel free to add/remove ideas to make this one better.

People will never really use teamwork unless they like tactical tdm's and/or have friends in their own team.
Walk and shoot everything that moves... not more.

But I like the idea.

I have been hosting for the past week, when you get the right people, it's very easy to accomplish, by the end of every day, I have had my fair share of "adventures" (Meaning tactical missions), it's so much more fun when you get like 4 people and go  on the attack using tactics.

me and my friend own at squad of 1 or squad of 2 with eachother :D
we think too much alike, so we know where the other one is going, and we tend to get people to ragequit

also, i could make it so there are teams of 3 people through events

That would be cool, mind posting the events when you are finished for others to use?

Although you should be able to edit the number of squads, the number of people in them and have some sort of 'squad chat' (which can be set to a keybind in options) so enemy/other squads don't hear them.

i'm not working on it right now, although if you get up a server i might event it for you
it would basicaly just use the 6 team slots to sort the players

I love it too! It makes it more like real military. I support! YUS!

Being able to spawn at your squad leader would be a neat feature, encouraging people to work together.

Yea, I love doing this in Bad Company 2, so then you don't spend 5 minutes reaching your squad because they are half way across the map and still moving.

you could actualy event the spawning at the team leader with zones and events :D
