Too long; didn't write - Atlantis is the cradle of civilization. When it sunk, mankind spread across the Earth, hence all civilizations having some sort of flood myth, and a majority of them talking about something Atlantis-like.

all hail lord neptune
But still, this sounds kinda cool.

Hypothesis makes sense, actually.

Bringing religion into this- When people started to build the Tower of Babel, they thought they could reach heaven. God got mad at them and spread the people making it all over the world. He also changed their native languages, so they could not possibly build another Tower of Babel. Thus Native Americans in North America before the Europeans came and conquered them.

That story is dumb and doesn't make sense. At all.

But they already found a lost ancient South American civilization which had boats to reach Europe and Africa...  Wouldn't that explain the stories of the ancient city of Atlantis?  The city used to be off the coast of South America, but is now resting a bit inland, with walls which match Homer's exact description.

Actually part of my theory states Noah's account of traversing the flooded world in search for land could depict the Jewish peoples' departure from Atlantis to a new land.
And an even further extension on this portion states that Babel itself was either Atlantis or a major structure in it that was never completed.

If I was a good artist I would draw Jews with wings flying off of a sinking island just to describe this :3.

Because I meant that literally.

If the MV increases or decreases then the RV will increase or decrease because (reason here.)

One question:

Why would an entire city sink?
