where2gobi campaign rifle?
Very Hard locked gun case at the Sniper's Nest uphill from Cottonwood Cove.

Boone is actually quite helpful. Surprisingly.

If I could get him to wield the anti-mat rifle I'd actually use him, because I would literally just saunter through the quarry while he does his dance of ruining everyone's stuff and sprays bullets into whatever organs deathclaws value most. :cookieMonster:

As it is I generally do his quest then leave him there so I have the Spotter perk forever but he doesn't follow along and get stuck on stuff.

SHAMELESS TROUBLE POST:

Crafting "Plus". It's sort of beta-y but hey go nuts! Lets you rechamber various weapons to use different ammo. You must find the schematic for rechambering kits before you can make them; it's sold in Gun Runners occasionally and found in the Gibson Scrapyard (piss easy to steal), plus you'll need 50 repair to make or use them but if you don't have that you are a terrible person.

It also tidies up the crafting menus by hiding things you don't have the skills to craft; stuff that comes from notes/schems/recipes will show regardless of skill (Rechambering Kits included). The actual weapons you can rechamber are shown when you have a kit and a weapon that are compatible, but not any other time, so you will have to see what's possible yourself by checking it out!
And just to save you the time: You cannot rechamber a BB Gun into .50MG.

Anyway next up I'm thinking I might swap over some stuff like gunpowder being all the same as well as craftable grenades/explosives (including the throwable ones). However I don't think Energy Weapons will see much love, because I hate them. Well not really hate them, just that their ammo is easy as hell to switch between from what I've heard, if I see this is not so then I guess I'll add some cell converter kits for some stuff.

I was also thinking of making Leather Armor craftable with Gecko Hides (and making them a tad less of a pain to tan) as well as upgrading Leather Armor into Reinforced Leather Armor and even Recon Armor or other nice things with sufficient awesomeness. Oh, and making cowboy hats because I love cowboy hats and cannot find enough of them to finish constructing a majestic tower.

Aaaaand one last thing: If you find any sorts of errors - be it something like a weapon should be worth more in a certain caliber or do less damage or whatever - I need feedback. I can't balance stuff without actual feedback, numbers only go so far.

How would I mod my Fallout New Vegas? I just want to hide a few entities around the wasteland like DUSTY MIKES SUPA COO COWBOY HAT WITH 5 DR so that I don't have to sacrifice Functionality for style.

Construction set?

Neat, where would I get it?

The G.E.C.K.

And if you're interested in learning to use the GECK you can download it from the Bethesda Fallout site. It's exactly like the Oblivion CS as far as I know, not that hard to use though it may take some getting used to.

Shortened review of the game

If you played fallout 3 with all the DLC, nothing too new here for you.
