Tried it. I found it overly complicated and while the "garry's mod style" building aspect was fun, the rest just wasn't.
I agree with that. I've tried it a while back and i managed to make a single building
it didn't help that i thought "I should make it over this radioactive sludge!" and then found out it takes ages just to get a single building and had no chance of making stairs or walkways for ages.
other people make pretty stuff though.

also this aero is chocolate instead of mint which makes me sad.

what are everyone's favorite 5 weapons

mine, in order, are:

anti-materiel rifle (not a typo, if you haven't seen the gun)
.357 magnum
Brush Gun
Super Sledge (Oh, Baby! ftw)
and lastly, the riot shotgun (i actually havent used it yet due to lack of shells lol)

So it made me want to play fallout 3 an-

OH GOD.

finally found the medical clinic (turns out i walked past it a couple times lol) and wanted the regenerative implant--

until I realized I just spent all my caps -_-

I just don't see FNV being better than Fallout 3. I think the best that FNV could be is not a disgrace to Fallout 3.

Yesterday, I relized someone could basically make Fallout New Vegas as a mod for Fallout 3. With the G.E.C.K. Lol

The ending is only a ploy for dlc. Hopefully the first released dlc.

I wish I could play this ;(

Best be trollin' nigguh

New Vegas improves over literally everything that I and basically everyone else I've talked to hate about 3. The crafting is actually crafting (though it could easily be better) rather than there being like five things to make, there's more than just one of each weapon in each repair category, stuff is actually DANGEROUS, plus hardcore mode.

There's still a stuffload of room for improvement but as far as I'm concerned, New Vegas is the third Fallout game and Fallout 3 is copyright infringement.

In fact the only thing in New Vegas that I can directly complain about is that Bethesda is still relying on the community to make a script extender rather than fixing their damn scripting engine.
I mean when you go "Okay I'll go make _____" and the first thing you've ever wanted to make is impossible due to there not being related hooks for it, something's up.

FYI it wasn't even something ridiculous - I just wanted to make an armor repair kit that works like the weapon repair kit, but that proved to be impossible because there's no functions to get/set equipped armor condition while there is for weapons.

The way I implemented it is ridiculously hacky (not saying that the weapon repair kit isn't, why doesn't it just show up as an option when repairing a weapon?) and if I'm right about how these things work, it'll make my mod incompatible with anything that modifies any armor repair lists unless you're using a list merging tool. Most people use these but I generally don't like to use tools to install/manage my mods, I just install the things I want and I do it by hand.

FO3 is a disgrace to Fallout 2.

Hey, hey, hey genius.

Bethesda didn't make FNV.

Agree with everything M said, mainly the script extender thing. Hope NVSE is made soon.

NVSE is already out :o I don't mod so I don't know what capabilities it has but I'm still glad.
