Open task manager, go to processes, right click steam.exe, and select Open File Location

Yea, you did something wrong, because if that file doesn't exist, neither does G-Mod, it is installed there.

Any similiar option? If you have a steam shortcut on your desktop or in the start menu, right click and select properties, and check where it goes.

At least on a Mac, you can right click on a game and click "Show in Finder" and it opens up the folder with the files in it. There's probably a similar option on Windows, if that hasn't already been suggested. If it has, sorry.
