But it has all my coins in it and I don't have anything else to put them in

Keep your money in a fresh, unused wastebasket.
Not the woven ones, a plastic one because they don't have any gaps in them where money could potentially fall out.
And if you do decide to get rid of the water bottle, recycle it. Don't throw it away.
