The fat man add-on looks cool

I agree, a one time use weapon would be awesome.

the game mode Idea... not so much D:

The mininuke was failed because it overwrote the Rockets damage.
NOT BECAUSE OF THE BIG EXPLOSION

I have no idea what the OP says outside of "something stupid and uninformed."

make it so it can't kill larger blocks...

Think about that, you have a building with small bricks and big bricks. You end up with a bunch of large floating bricks with spaces between them.

The mini-nuke was failed for multiple reasons.

1.
The mininuke was failed because it overwrote the Rockets damage.

2. The massive amount of brick damage would lag horridly.

3. If spammed enough, the Mini-Nuke projectile would crash a client.

the problem for the lag isn't the weapon, i thought it was the bricks fake killing?

also, i would say to ballence it out, turn the person into the nuke and have them be able to slightly be able to aim it, or have it take 2 people to do it, one to aim, one to trigger, with both of them flying it?
the lag for the weapons is the bricks being fake killed and the model/scripting being created and run by the console coupled by the major effects used by the nuke itself. one nuke doesn't usually make any lag unless aimed at a house of  1x1s, the people who usually use nukes, however, like to spam them...

I read it, and what you want=ion cannon-partical effects.
And it still lags if you're not the host.

For the Ion Cannon, it still lags me when I'M the host.

The mininuke was failed because it overwrote the Rockets damage.
Yea, I fixed that.

That's not the only reason it was failed.

That's not the only reason it was failed.
It was easily spammable, and the explosion caused lag.

Because it was annoying and had no real purpose.

Solution:  Aim
-Dont go firin' willy-nilly when or if you get the mininuke.  Fire a test shot at no bricks or players to tell how much it will arc, then aim and fire at them noobs.

-Second, I get what you mean by the blue dot blast radius, but It would be almost completely impossible to create for the client side,  It would fire invisible projectiles at a high speed that would travel for instance 10xSPEED at 10xGRAVITY FACTOR.  The "Explosion" would be that blue dot/circle in the form of a flat, 2D image.  However, if you hit the floor near a building, it could not cover the building as well.  Likewise It applies to all angled Surfaces

Offtopic: It was funny when I shot down an F18 wih a Mininuke.  Heehee

Because it was annoying and had no real purpose.
Actually, it is very effective for wiping out a large bunch of Zombies/Bots/Players heading towards you/away from you/standing still.
