Western Digital and Seagate are good.

Western Digital and Seagate are good.

My dad has 2 WD 500GB's and they slip into his pocket like an iPhone. I considering it a 500GB USB Drive.

Oh btw, if your browser supports it, use the add-on Invisible Hand.  It can save you a few bucks here and there.

SDD Hard Drives are better, right?  Like faster to access and stuff?

I love the Invisible Hand.

Solid State Drives are quiet due to the fact that actually have no moving parts, and they are more efficient.

They are just extremely expensive right now.

If I spend ~ $100 is that enough for a decent 250GB one?

Nope.  Maybe for a smaller one, but not 250gb.  About 40gb would be what to expect.

250 gigs seems small for 50 bucks.
for 100 i got a 1T

Jesus christ, guys, I don't need that much room on my computer, what the hell would you do with so much. D:
My comp has 1079GB of avable memory.

If you're looking for lots of space at a low price, SSD is the way to go. You won't find a 250GB flash memory drive for the same price.
What? No, that's completely wrong. SSDs are very very expensive right now for a similarly sized HDD.

He's talking about SSDs.
