Known issues with V18

  • Escape button does not work the same as it used to.  - I added it to global action map by mistake.
  • Can't run dedicated server and client out of the same folder anymore - due to cache.db file being locked
  • Window may become unresponsive during "Building Cache Database" phase - this can be exacerbated if you have a very large add-ons folder.
  • Macintosh version may place cache.db directly on the hard disk rather than in the Blockland folder - you may or may not have permission to place files there so the mac version may not work.  The bug does not happen every time.  I am investigating.

Add a note about the DB file being locked.

Yeah, and something is wrong with starting Blockland right now for me.

snapshotGameAssets function crashes Blockland.

You don't need to use it anyways.

Still, it's a new function and probably is used somewhere.

It's not new in v18. I've seen it before.

It's used in development, for taking isometric screenshots of all game assets.
You will have no use for it.

Elaborate.  Is there a message? In what circumstance does this happen.  Provide information.  Learn to communicate.

Can Dedicated batch files be run from diffrent locations though?
Like the Desktop?

It doesn't matter where the batch file is.
It'll still run the same copy of Blockland.
