If you are the kind of person that easily becomes addicted to food you would become just as addicted to drugs.

and if you do so happen to eat an oreo or a twinkie how often do you think of exercising it off?
Quite often. I'm very skinny. In fact, I find Twinkies nasty, so this doesn't really apply - but if you were to eat an Oreo you could work it off with ~1 minute of exercise. They're really not harmful.
And like Tom said, you would have to be a moron to think marijuana is harmless.

Tom

Studies have shown that people who abuse marijuana are pretty much permanently addicted to it. But you hear a lot about fat people who are able to start eating right and recover.

The effect of eating Oreos or Twinkies can be removed quite easily with exercise.
Not exactly. Oreos and Twinkies have plastic in their cream filling that is stored in the body, but not in fat cells. It's literally garbage in your body that takes years to get out, if ever.

I'd smoke pot before I eat a box of twinkies or McDonalds (anything from McDonalds).

i don't get permanently addicted to anything. if i want to stop doing it i just stop. also, i'm not just going "i can stop whenever i want to" i've actually broken addictions quite easily.

Hell to the no D:
I would gladly accept a Big Mac rather than a joint.
McDonalds is incredibly disgusting, but doing drugs is worse IMO. At least McDonalds has some nutrition in it.

it all depends on how you ingest the marijuana. if you eat it then it will be like eating salad i think. only it would make you feel a bit happier or something. idk much about eating marijuana.

And you would perform at a suboptimal intellectual level, just like smoking the stuff.
It ruins your brain by deteriorating your problemsolving and logic abilities - not to mention it hinders the brain from learning.
EDIT: And it forgets with your lungs and heart.

The same as any other substance, food, or drink. Psychological addiction can happen with any object.

you can get addicted to masturbating or playing a game...

But it's not just psychological, you see. THC gets your brain addicted.

Everything, man.

On a side note, I'm high as stuff right now

That would explain your ignorance.
It's not just loving psychological when it comes to drugs. I don't see how you can't comprehend that.

I wish I could get high without any of the negative side effects that come with drugs.
I know I like it because once I was high on nitrous oxide.
Good stuff.

My ignorance? I had this standpoint before I even started smoking Cannabis, it's the opposite of ignorance.

Yes, it is psychological you loving idiot. This isn't a philisophical conundrum, it's not arguable, it's biochemistry, numbnuts. Jesus forget we live in 2011, not 1910, so get off your loving righteous podium.

Hope this is satirical.

I'd break this down this "argument" bit by bit, but it's futile. Your entire opinion is based on propaganda and conservative "philosophical" standards. So, instead I pose this question: Why are drugs inherently bad? Why are the an ethical negative? I'm going to assume your first response would be because it negatively impacts your mental and physical form, therefore it is bad. But if you said that you wouldn't ever eat fast food, or drink soda, or take medication. Everything is harmful on a trivial level. THAT aside, caffeine is a drug, it's a nervous stimulant. So, caffeinated drinks are suddenly an ethical poor in your eyes. I'm proposing that if you want to argue why it's bad to do drugs, you argue philosophically, not medically, because you cannot win that argument.

The gist of this is that you're extremely close-minded an ignorant. You are thinking with blinders on, not critically. I can tell you really haven't even evaluated your own philosophies on the situation.
