It's extremely addictive. Anything that directly triggers a pleasureful feeling whenever you do it, instantly and powerfully, is addictive.

A lot of people make things like this to supposedly justify their addiction. Oh, and the reason California made it legal was so that they can regulate it, instead of encouraging black markets to sell it. Not because it's a good thing. Marijuana is a hallucinogen, which means it screws with your short-term memory.

I love how that article was made by a health insurance company. Drug addiction might take some strain on your medical bills, hm?

Why would you bump this, Zookuw? ;__;

Why would you bump this, Zookuw? ;__;
Why would I not bump this?

Why would I not bump this?
because nobody wants to see it.

because nobody wants to see it.
I wish people would at least discuss it rather then just hating on it or saying it is good.

>MLP doesn't feature drugs
>That mean's it's not cool!!!11!1

-_-

It's extremely addictive.
Umm, no. It has potential for psychological dependancy. What you're saying could be equated to calling World of Warcraft "dangerous".

That may be true for those of us who have NO self-control whatsoever.

Marijuana is a hallucinogen, which means it screws with your short-term memory.
And this sentence just proves you're bullstuffting.

Marijuana is NOT a hallucinogen. And you don't even know what a hallucinogen is! A hallucinogen is a type of drug that can induce hallucinations. This just proves that you're willing to spew out crap even though you realize you have no idea what you're talking about.

Plan on taking one tab and tirpping for the first time with several other people at a car show this friday. :D
Ryuu, remember when we used to talk?
You used to be cool, man. :c

Are you accusing me of not knowing what I'm talking about?

There's 2 different sources. Marijuana is a hallucinogen. I've read about it online. We studied hallucinogens and their affects in Biology. I know what I'm talking.

Not surprisingly, marijuana intoxication can cause distorted perceptions, impaired coordination, difficulty with thinking and problem solving, and problems with learning and memory. Research has shown that, in chronic users, marijuana's adverse impact on learning and memory can last for days or weeks after the acute effects of the drug wear off.2 As a result, someone who smokes marijuana every day may be functioning at a suboptimal intellectual level all of the time

Quote
Long-term marijuana abusers trying to quit report withdrawal symptoms including: irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which can make it difficult to remain abstinent. These symptoms begin within about 1 day following abstinence, peak at 2-3 days, and subside within 1 or 2 weeks following drug cessation.
As far as I know, you don't get these symptoms trying to quit playing World of Warcraft. It's not nearly as addictive in the first place. Seeing how bad the symptoms are, I think that you need more then "decent self control" to break an addiction to such a drug.

All in all, drugs aren't good. Most people literally think that illegal drugs make you cool, and use things like "Dude what am I smoking" for humor. Well, it's not cool, and it's not funny. It's flat out stupid.

It's extremely addictive.

Addiction is characterized by withdrawl effects. Cannabinoids do not cause physical addiction or dependence. It isn't a loving guess, it's science.
I love how that article was made by a health insurance company. Drug addiction might take some strain on your medical bills, hm?
Cannabinoids cause no detrimental effect to human health when used in moderation (like everything else on the planet).

You mean aside from the ones that save peoples lives or the ones that you use every day you loving hypocrite. You come in here with your smartass attitude, citing propaganda websites and spouting absurd bullstuff, pretending you know what you're talking about. Even those quotes in your above post are not based in reality, those are literally made-up. Like I never did any research on Marijuana and I'm just a stupid stoner kid. Yeah, that's it, I don't know what I'm talking about. I didn't do any research on Medical Marijuana, didn't spend months reading about it and the various ways it helps patients, how it works and all the health-related info. Nope, not at all, you totally got me with your 5-second google research.

Get out. No, seriously, stop loving posting. Your attitude and lack of intelligence is downright insulting. You made crass assumptions about our personalities, spew bullstuff non-facts which you try to reinforce with your middle-school level of education (while trying to argue with College students no-less), and are just generally acting like a loving moron.

In one year I went from straight-edge, no drugs at all, to a regular Cannabis user because of all of the information I read and from the avalanche of stuff I went through -- I literally watched my mother recede from reality, hallucinate constantly, her brain degrading until she almost didn't exist, and then I watched her stop breathing. Medical Marijuana could have helped her, it could have made her life just a little more tolerable, may have even extended her life just a little bit longer, so I don't loving take kindly to know-it-all brats discrediting cannabis with pseudo-facts and propaganda.
