I need a good gaming desktop

I like how you think the 9400GT is a good video card. It can't run stuff. Well actually it can run some pretty decent games but it definitely can't run modern games worth stuff. For example: Just Cause 2, BioShock 2, GTA4, need I go on?

Although it was a good card for its time since I had one. I actually still have it but my current card is 460 GTX. I might give my old card to a friend.

Also due note that dual cores on a Mac is like a single core for a PC because Mac's fancy (and pretty cool admittedly) is a CPU hog.

They're almost as expensive as Alienwares when I can spend less then HALF THE PRICE for the same exact specs.

Here's what I recommend to run GTA4:

- A Quad Core Processor (Anything lower and you'll suffer from 10-25 fps.)
- 460 GTX Nvidia (Only 250 bucks. It's well worth the money.)
- 4 gigs of ram (DDR2 or 3)

All the rest of the parts you can probably find on your own. If you want to me to search online for you I can pull up some parts on newegg and tigerdirect.
