My server doesn't seem to want to authenticate on its own anymore. Nobody sees it on the server list until I change a setting like the welcome message through RTB. When I start the server, it shows

Authentication: Connected...
No user/host entry in master server, re-sending authentication request
Authentication: Sending Initial Request...
Dedicated server is now running.

and stops. At this point, nobody can connect or even see the server but me, and only through Query LAN. But once I connect and change a setting, it goes again to "No user/host..." and follows through to "Authentication: SUCCESS", and players can start connecting.

As I have a fairly reliable solution already, I didn't want to make a thread all about this, but I thought it should be known.

I'm still having this problem, except that now it, apparently, temporarily loses connection in the middle of hosting. Nobody in the server notices, but I look at the console and it's going through authentication again, and I assume for a length of time before that it has been unlisted again.

This.

I've been observing server activity, and it seems that this is also occurring to a minority of servers, including mine. I recommend this being looked at. I also recommend looking at my previous post for more detail.

Did the window become unresponsive or did it just sit there?  How long did you wait?  If you have to check the cdn for 1000+ files and none of them are there, it can take ~30 seconds to get through them all.
It sits there until I quit it, which is about 5 minutes.

There is a known issue where the game will freeze for a few seconds when someone connects or disconnects.  Occasionally, it will freeze long enough for someone to get bored and disconnect, which makes it freeze more and you end up with this chain reaction where it freezes for like a minute and everyone leaves.

It is a difficult problem to debug because it does not happen consistently and the freeze is not from CPU usage.  CPU usage actually drops to zero while it's happening.

This combined on Red_Guy's Mining Server in a horrific way. Since it parses players for stats and such, it mounted join/leave lag. I remember one time, around 7 people left in a row. It caused chain lag for so long, people started timing out. When it was finally over, only me and this other guy were left. I was amazed my low end connection and computer handled it.

Though my point is that noobchains can be scary... Meh.

Anything odd in the console?
Is this also happening when you only have the default add-ons on?
Nothing really, just same as it was in V14.
EDIT: and i did have custom add ons on at the time. I'll get a Conlog for you when ever i can

I still get the cache error message PLEASE FIX IT.

I got a problem.
When I joined a server, it froze and a message popped up saying something like "Slqize cache error. Do not run the game directly from the base file" or something like that.
Bad, we still need your help on the Sqlite error thingy.
Badspot. We still need you for the Slqite or something error.
3 of us.

Also, another thing.

The error message is telling you that Blockland cannot write to disk.  Blockland needs to be able to write to the folder it is installed in.  The folder may be read only.  Your user permissions may be set to not allow you to write to the disk or to the folder that Blockland is installed in.  You may have some "security" software installed that is preventing the game from writing to disk.

A normal computer under default configuration will let programs write to disk.  There are an infinite number of ways you could have broken this functionality.  It is your responsibility to unbreak it.

I changed my BL folder, addons folder, cache folder, base folder, and Config folder making Everything (Guess, admin, and me) Read & Write. This computer is new, %100 mine only, and I have never installed any security software.
I'm on a mac.
What's the thing about running it from the mounted image?

My computer at my fathers house, Blockland has a memory leak.

If all of that were true it would work.

The "do not run the game directly from the mounted image" message is displayed on the mac when the game cannot write to disk.  This is because the most common error on the mac is people running the game directly from the read-only .dmg file instead of copying it to their Applications folder like they're supposed to.
