Author Topic: Whats up with 5 year old blockheads having a no swearing rule?  (Read 5818 times)

I ban people on my server for excessive swearing. I don't put up a server, spend my time there, letting other people enjoy themselves, to put up with a bunch of idiots who lack the vocabulary to speak a sentence without including a curse. Nor do I want to put up with idiots who randomly join servers just to swear and leave, thinking that they've outran the Ban, due to leaving too quick for anyone to go to the Admin Menu and ban them. (People forget about their ID's being logged in the BrickMenu)

Simply put, if you go to a server, and the host doesn't want you to swear, you respect his rules.
He's put them there for a reason. He doesn't want to hear you swearing for no real reason.
He also doesn't want to put up with your idiocy and lack of social skills.

Religion is stupid.

Jokes aside, don't be silly and turn the topic into any form of religion war. Besides, his point is still valid, even if he is religious.

I wasn't joking.
He shouldn't have the same beliefs of his parents if the only reason for them is because that's what his parents said was right.
He should question everything they tell him.

If you're a child, you learn what you're told.
If you're told as a child about a religion and that it is true, you will believe so. That's how children learn. Those lessons carry on with a child as they grow up.

Regardless, you shouldn't claim that his point isn't valid on account of the fact that he chooses to follow a religious faith for whatever reason.
If he wants to belong to a religion, allow him to do so. No one is stopping you from being atheist/agnostic or whatever religious faith (or lack of) you have.

And there's no point in turning this into a religious based conflict on a Drama topic addressing the idea of swearing. Allow him his opinion and he'll allow you yours. :/

It's not about religion.
It's about people like them not questioning their beliefs enough.
Weather they be religious or otherwise.

And when, pray tell, do you stop questioning your belief? When you no longer have one?
It's a belief, because you believe in it. You don't need to question what you believe in as you know it to be true.
Besides, the entire point is still un-needed and should pretty much be stopped here.

You don't need to question what you believe in as you know it to be true.
That's called ignorance my boy.

I bet those little magots dont want to get Butraped. Thats why.

I think 5 year olds should watch Full Metal Jacket I'll leave that as my argument on 5yo curssing rules.........

This is why we have filtered chat.

This is why we have filtered chat.
Some handicaps think it's cool to bypass a filter by putting spaces or other characters in the middle of the said profanity.

I make no swearing rules when:
Mom is nearby;
Or when my cousins ( age 4-6) are in the house
Or when other company ( besides my friend, Cargon) is over.

Like what? Is there mommys and daddys watching everything they do on the computer, or is it just its just too much for those lifeless bastards? See! I'm swearing now! What are you 5 year olds gonna do about this now!?!?! Ban us swearing people, just know you banning 5 year olds will never be like normal people.
You can look at it that way. They technically don't have a life due to the fact they are five. But then again, that's a bit harsh.

This discussion is total stuff
But personally you should swear for cool points!

So young children who are offended/prefer you not to use swearing are "lifeless bastards?"

Again, you are the five year old here.
