The answer is fairly simple. This morning at 6 A.M., I woke up, went through a portal, lost my house, started a new file, hacked it, made another portal, and found brimstone. Yellow powder came out of it. I wondered what the heck to do with it, so I went back, crafted 9 powders, like so...

And voila. I had myself a brimstone block. I also gathered some dirt stuff that had faces on it, but it has no use.
