i dunno, i was going to play but then i needed to recieve 533 mb of updates so i was all 'forget that stuff' and shut my ps3 off

It's 45 minutes of that stuff. You can wait, or never play again because it's a patch for a hacking fault in 2.01.

I used to play when it first came out and I was one of the top players for a while.
I quit for a few months and around a month or two ago tried again and I sucked terribly. I haven't played it since

To bad you have to stay in like a 20 person squad and almost NEVER see all 256 players all together.

You actually can freelance with other squads on your team. The squads are designated by different shades of blue, so yes, you do see all 256 players at once if you span across most of the map.

Well, to be honest I think you were a little too impatient with the game when you began to play it again. Just because you were at the top of your game when you first got it, doesn't mean that after not playing a while you won't lose your touch and be killed by the newest pros that could have been newcomers when you still played. You have to allow yourself to readjust, and eventually you'll be good again.

As for Raven, it's actually the most populated behind S.V.E.R. because Valor is the least populated now I think. Most of the people changed factions.

Still doesn't change the fact S.V.E.R. is a bunch of savages.

Yeah. I actually contemplated joining Valor, but I felt that Raven was more my type of faction.

When I played a lot I was part of a pretty badass clan. We would generally kick everyones ass, no questions asked.

We all had similar character builds which were: almost fully upgraded medpack, fully upgraded LMG skills, and then some other skills of your choice.
I was mainly a gunner, but I did a lot of sniping and spotting if the need arises. I remember an amazing match we had once where our other sniper/spotter setup in quite a nice position overlooking the path enemies run up from.

He was using a lower caliber rifle with a silencer to help conceal his position and he just sat there the match spotting for the rest of us, and strategically eliminating some targets that A.) had us pinned under fire or B.) were waiting for us.
We ended up winning that match and many more like it.

God I had some good times on this game. Met a lot of cool people on it, some of which even months later I would strike up a conversation with, maybe play a game or two here and there.
(also we pummeled sver on a regular basis in smaller gamemodes, just sayin')
