Author Topic: Advanced brick saving.  (Read 2847 times)

I'd like it if you could select options for saving bricks, like you could select wether you wanted to save the bricks of people in your trust, another option to save bricks of you and a few other people, and if you wanted to save the bricks of evreyone in the server.

Like my idea?

Now why would badspot read this?

So, if you've built something in an open server and want to save it, you could choose to save only your bricks and exclude the other builds automatically?

That actually sounds like a good idea.

now you'll just have to change the save system for how saving ownership works, and increase the file size by a decent amount?
although it would be nice for when you build something on somebody else's bricks, and they're still yours, although if a brick is on somebody elses, it should work for their trust too

Hey, this is actually a good request! :D

Change the title. You might get banned for it. You need a good title.

Change the title to "Advanced Saving."

Also, this is a loving great idea.

According to my research, this is impossible because Badspot has made saving impossible to detect both by server and client.

It is, however, possible to search through the file after it's already saved and remove any bricks that aren't yours.

What if you made a script that did exactly that

Hearing your voice on IcyGamma's 'talk show' just felt odd. No offense but the pitch of your voice does not match your bravado or general attitude towards everyone in my opinion. Go ahead. Pound me in the face.
Ontopic: Yes, this seems like a great idea. I'm not sure if it's really necessary though.
