Author Topic: Centered 1x1  (Read 1029 times)

A regular 1x1 brick centered on a 4x4 grid.

Pretty easy to understand, so I don't think a picture is necessary. This would be great for posts, and probably a billion other things I haven't put the time in to think about.

Also a plate, and round version would be good.

Unfortunately we have the brick grid limiting things like this

lego version of it now
Those 1x1 rounds can be centered between studs.

I believe he means it be created as if it were one of those more complex bricks. It would take up the brick grid space of a 2x2, but look like a 1x1. You wouldn't be able to put two side-by-side. My only concern is the textures on the top and bottom.

Couldn't it be on a grid of a two by two only with a pole/brick in the middle?

There'd have to be a whole new tab for "Centered Bricks". Despite that, Id like this.

As far as the textures go, you could have the 4 corners inverted.
And yeah, they couldn't go side by side because they'd still be on the original grid.

I don't really think this is necessary. Because you can make a post without this.

you could just scale everything up by 2

Someone already had this idea. OP edited out, but it's about the same thing. Read Badspot's response.

Yea, sorry about that. Also, I'm not sure how to make it a regular brick though.

This could easily be made.  All you have to do is make a copy of the 1x1round.blb file and change the first line to 2 2 3.
Just make sure to rename it and package it correctly.
?

?
I mean, the regular brick as he suggested. The request was for a round brick.

oh, wouldn't it be close to the same thing? i guess maybe make it's own model
