Author Topic: loving old people looking down on teens.  (Read 9559 times)

well then people.
ever elderly person i've ever met has not only been nice, but also really cool. hence me always mooching off my dad's 360 to play blazblue.

You have a relationship with your dad, and well, he's your dad.

It's different.

the majority of the teachers at LT are also cool bro. i'm actually probably the youngest teacher at south campus.

I don't know I'm kinda in the middle of this argument.

Basicly...

Yes adults do tend to stereotype teenagers but it's kinda our own fault when you see all those kids trying to be "gangster" with their pants down to their ankles and their baseball cap turned sideways.

Caution, for some reason you really just aren't getting that it's not difficult to change the stereotype on you, dress formal, simple, you are automatically exempt from it. Don't do the things they criticize in pubic, don't wear the clothes they criticize against. If you won't change then shut up, you obviously don't care about it if you are willing to stay the way you are. If you dress proper I'm certain they won't go "Oh, there goes one of those hoodlums". It's like complaining that your van is being stereotyped as a "creeper" van although it says free candy on the side and all of these inviting toys to tempt little kids, it's stupid.

I'm pretty sure it has always been this way, and when you grow up you are gonna be the same exact way. Also forget people who say you have to earn my respect, no matter what age that stuff pissed me off. I hate people that just have to act like mondays

This must be the 10th loving rage topic you've made, calm the forget down or write a book.

I would read it, the first, Rage book

It's funny how many are saying "Them old folks sterotype us and all of them generalize us!", yet that's exactly what you're doing to the older folks.  :cookieMonster:

I mean you can still wear what you like but don't wear it in a loving handicapped manner like having your pants dropped at your ankles like I said earlier.

Haha, I just realized that. Good times...

Caution, my good fellow.  Very intelligent, but you need to enjoy life to its most instead of arguing and raging about the most little of things.

I agree, just ignore them. You can never stop someone from stereotyping, everyone does it, it's their first impression when they see someone.

Of course, he just tends to argue and rage more easily then others.  He needs to calm himself :o
