Silly Sheath

Oh god. What a fool I am for not being able to read minds! Doh!

Well, thats what the majority of the use will be for. I hope its a g3, those look c00l.

If you are looking to use it practically, including hosting, you'll want to avoid a G3. If you get a multicolored G3, its not going to be a good hosting platform. Those things don't get past the 500mhz barrier, especially the earlier ones which can run around 300mhz.

Okay, this thing is going to be awesome, could you send me a pic of yours?

not necessarily.

Yes necessarily. Whether it be a first, second, third, or eighteenth cousin, your uncle's nephew is still your cousin. Unless of course it's your brother, but the OP would have just said brother.

what system is it running? like 10.4.3 (what im running) or what?

I just use a dual boot.  :cookieMonster:

Maybe an Imac G3, but probably a Macintosh or PowerPC. I would recommend stripping it down and replacing a few parts if you know where to get them.

PowerPC.

They are stuff.

Heres my iMac G3 Strawberry, it sits in the cupboard right now.

And heres my iBook Clamshell Indigo. I've been doing it up for fun. :3

Both of them are utterly useless for hosting. But you won't be getting either of those. The pink one was made in 1998 or 1999. The blue one was made in 2000.

I happen to have a blue iMac G3 from 1999. I have it in storage somewhere, got it secondhand. I used to have two Macintosh Plus' from the early 80's (my parents bought both of them new), but they ended up selling them (one of them had a screen that worked half the time, other one worked perfectly).

I also have a Mac Mini from 2005, got that brand new. It was my first new computer.

Those Macs are ugly.

They look better nowadays, right?

They have no blue fan lights.
