Do you charge forwards or move to the side?

i often find myself in the "both people move the same way multiple times awkwardly then they both stand still at the same time" situation when walking in the hallway

I'm notorious for slamming into people with either my body or my backpack if they don't move after I ask them to.

If it's somebody I know I'll purposely charge their shoulder with my shoulder and say something like WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOIN PUNK. If it's somebody I don't know I'll forcefully kick their neck and ask them politely to move out of the way.
