Well I know the game had horrible reviews and such at release, but they have been working hard on making it good I hear, they made NPCs much smarter with lots of unique spells, added dungeons and even low level dungeons, they added raid level monsters, they increased the speed in which you gain skills so it is no longer that intense of a grind (still a big grind.) A guy I watched streaming it said you can max all the magic skills in 2 months, versus the 8-11 months it used to take.
I am going to try out the trial, and it is currently only $7.50 so i might just buy it while it is on sale this weekend and after the trial activate it, I think it is worth the gamble.

I forgot to explain wtf the game is for anyone oblivious to it so let me do that. Darkfall Online is an MMO with very hardcore PVP rules, anyone can kill anyone, and upon death your body is lootable and people can strip you clean of every single item you had. You can also build clan headquarter type places and you can raid and try to take over other peoples clan headquarters. Your clan can create boats and sail them also to have ship combat and also to explore new areas. There are no classes currently, and you can level every skill in the game. It is an FPS MMO so you actually have to aim, and also you can hurt your own teammates, so you have to be careful where you are firing, also you can accidentally heal enemies.
If you want to try the trial with me, join the US trial and post your name on here, I plan to be a dwarf. The wolf guys are allies with the dwarves I believe, although I am not sure what being an ally means, as anyone can kill anybody else.
