Islam > Christianity

Muslim scholars were very smart, they founded some of the very foundations for math, science, and literature that we still use today. They also started the European renaissance.

But

Christianity touches little boys while islam forgets 9 year old girls

I said that Christian influence of mathematics and science was much larger than that of the Muslim influence.

Christian influence on science:

Christian influence on science:

Yes, unfortunately Christians weren't immediately perfect such as yourself.

If only you were a god.

Oh I just realized, Greek Christians were the first to measure the circumference of the world.

Yes, unfortunately Christians weren't immediately perfect such as yourself.

If only you were a god.

If only a god existed.

I think you mean Ancient Greeks; they weren't Christians but polytheistic.

Islam promoted the sciences for a long time, and actually translated and stored the ancient Greek writings. During the crusades Christians got a hold of some of these writings; but it took awhile for Europeans to start a Renaissance. China and the nations of Islam were mush more advanced early on; but plateaued in their knowledge allowing Christians/Europeans to overcome them in science and civilization.

That is rather depressing that some people actually take that seriously.

Not even close to what I meant, but nice attempt.

pretty much sums up every christian belief regarding science.

As far as I'm concerned, both religions are equally detrimental to society.

All religions are actually.

Yes, the Inquisition.

Also, right now; many christian "charity" groups are in Africa convincing local tribes (who have had tolerance for hundreds of years) to kill gays among them due to AIDs. Instead of passing around condoms or something helpful.

Didn't I mention before that Muslims did influence science and mathematics, but that Christians influenced the fields more?

I really see no point in debating these points with you; you really don't even address my points, so I am going to say good night.
