Author Topic: Miltary screwed up; "missile" launched from Southern California  (Read 3627 times)

I think I make too many of these news topics, but so..

Today at dawn, an NBC News chopper captured footage of a "missile" of sorts flying away from the coast of Southern California. Now, the question the Navy, the Air Force, the Army, and the Pentagon are all asking...

Who the forget launched it?

Yep, that's right folks! Our national defense agencies dun goof'd, because now a possible ballistic missile or something is now in flight, ready to hit something. Nobody knows if it was a plane or a ship, or if it was land-based either. Some officials think that somebody pressed the wrong button or pulled the wrong switch.

Discuss the military's mistake.

NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED

My bad, accidentally hit the "Launch" button on my keyboard. It's only headed towards Madagascar, don't worry about it.

There is this rocket like thing over NC right now itOJdLk

ERROR

a possible ballistic missile

mmm hmmm.... lets just assume thats what it is, and that it accidentally launched.

the military launch hundreds of  missiles a day for training and testing. its not a surprise at all if they dont want to comment on it.
just because someone seen it dont mean it wasn't unintentional, or even important.

Black Ops missile inbound

yeah i just looked it up, NO ONE is wondering about it except the news stations trying to make a story.
the military and government just arent talking about it. of course.

jesus christ you guys are pandered to so easily by fear mongering news stations.

What I mean is that something similar to a ballistic missile in size and rocket thrust was launched. The military even said in public that it isn't known who launched it and that they wouldn't launch a training and/or testing missile in such a populated area without alerting the populous in advance.

Ok, so if they had failed, they would have let it explode over a possibly populated area and let the debris fall and injure or kill people?

Yeah, ok, I totally see what you mean.

Also, they said they aren't worried which is understandable, but they're still wondering about it.
