I got this stuffty virus called "Think Point" which is a fake anti virus program.
It blocks your access to Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Google chrome, and Task manager.
It destroyed my sound processors and forgeted the theme up.
Now IE doesn't even start, it just crashes. I'm using Fire Fox. I got rid of the loving stuff virus with Avast, but it left my system a pile of crap. Now i have to backup all my Addons, Pictures, Files, Models, Scripts and programs such as BL and MS3D.

forgetin' Microsoft security essentials did this. forget.

"u jawst gawt pwned loel"

That really loving sucks. I recommend buying an External HDD and backing up onto that.

I tried Norton, Avast, anything i could find but they all suck. I'm using XP

Im on a laptop, So i have to rely on loving SD cards to hold my stuff.

I remember a topic about it.
I think they recommended MalwareBytes for it.

Its called Trojan.FakeAV
Its common.

, And no, it did not come with your computer.

I had one on Sunday. It was Windows trying to install hardware called "ANTIVIRUS"

I clicked no, and it popped up every 3 minutes. loving viruses. Why do people do this?

Ah, viruses. I remember when I had one and it kept pulling up pages of Viagra.

Almost done with backup, then restore.

It's a polar bear's nose in a snowstorm?

Thinkpoint is a popular virus, happened to me once. Almost everything you said about it is BS for attention though. All it does it tell you you have lots of viruses and tells you to buy the program for $90 to delete the viruses.
