A sophomore boy at my school was reported dead last night at his friend's house. They were playing the "Choking Game," apparently. The administration at school held an entire goddamn assembly, band playing music and all, and a lot of people felt really sad, some were even crying.
Me? I honestly have absolutely zero sympathy for the kid. I even said it out loud during the assembly, but only loud enough for a few people around me to hear. They all turned and shot me nasty looks and I just sat there, expressionless. One of my friends that was sitting next to me asked me why I said what I said. My response: "If you're stupid enough to strangle yourself to get high, you deserve to die." My friend looked all horrified and stuff and said, "How could you say that??"
Oh my bad, I didn't know that I'm expected to have sympathy for people with an intelligence quota of 6. Bite me.
God loving damnit kids are handicapped these days. It's this kind of stuff that reminds me of that one story from one of "The Darwin Awards" books about the guy that strapped a J.A.T.O. to the top of his car, fired it up, and drove across the desert for a few seconds before his car took off into the air and slammed into a cliff.
