Not really surprising.

They are currently shopping around for buyers. Engine kept improving, but way too slow.

Employees were all let go.

There were some really amazing developers working on it. I hope all those effected find work.

Re-engineering the entire game on a new engine wouldn't be worth the time/effort.

I sure hope this doesn't affect our game.

It could over time.
Plus, he wouldn't have to shut down blockland as we know it. He could just work on said new style until it is completed enough.

If given the chance, I would give badspot the money to re-build blockland.
