CONTROLSUp: Forward
Down: Backwards
Left/Right: Lean
Z: Dismount
Space: Action/When Dismounted, Grab
CTRL/SHIFT: Other Actions
CHARACTERS
Wheelchair Guy: An old guy on a rocket-propelled wheelchair. Space key activates the jet and CTRL/SHIFT adjust the angle.
Segway Guy: An up-and-coming businessman riding a segway. He always remembers his helmet! Space makes the wheels jump for a small vertical boost. CTRL/Shift make him stand up straight or bend down so he can take impacts better.
Irresponsible Dad: A dad on a bicycle who hasn't the time to practice child safety. Space makes him brake, CTRL dismounts the child and Shift dismounts daddy.
Effective Shopper: A rotund woman with a shopping mobile and a basket full of goodies. Her portly figure makes her a bit less prone to nihilichilification when dismounted from her cart. Space makes her cart hop, CTRL and SHIFT have no function with this character.
Moped Couple: A happy couple on a swift bike! The woman has a tight grip! Space boosts the bike, CTRL brakes, SHIFT dismounts the woman.
HAZARDSThe
Landmine is a small, flat explosive device capable of blowing most characters to bits, if you're reckless. A careful player can tread across a landmine without a scratch. The survival chance is quite low if you don't happen to have a vehicle to dampen the blow, though.
The
Spike Wall is a row of spikes that gores players on contact. It isn't uncommon to survive a tangle with these, though. Don't expect to survive if they're spinning wildly, though.
The
Wrecking Ball is a giant iron ball on a chain that swings dangerously. Trying to count the pieces after a run-in with these is hard.
The
Harpoon Gun is the baddest of the bad. It aims in on you (quite accurately, I must say) and shoots a sharp harpoon that can pin players to walls and other objects. It's rare to survive a goring of the Harpoon Gun without a wall between you and it.
OTHER LEVEL THINGSBoosters are translucent, yellow and black strips that propel the vehicle forward. Stacking these makes the effect stronger!
Fans appear as giant, swinging fans with an accompanying "swoosh" sound. Like the booster, but is solid and can blow vehicles through walls.
Spring Plates appear as slabs with upwards pointing arrows and a caution-striped top. The top springs up on player contact, launching the player a small distance. Can be edited to wait a certain amount of seconds before engaging.
The game features features a fully-functional level editor (with copy-paste functions, transparency, and hinges to boot!) and a menu to share your abominations online!
Try this game out, it's good, gorey fun!
EDIT: More info, both on the new character and on level bits.
