A good PC is a little over 1 thousand.
A good PC is a little over 1 thousand.Even so, a graphics card is what, $150? $200?

The steam figure was 11 months ago.
Alright, so why spend thousands every few years? If new games have such good graphics you need to upgrade your $2000, why wouldn't they need to make a new Xbox?
It's been just over 7 years since I got my current PC and I haven't spent more than $500 on upgrading it. I can run most everything on medium or high settings. They don't need to make a new xbox because the xbox runs games at lower quality than PCs do (or, can).
When you guys said Xbox 360's 23 million you forgot to add PS3's and Wii's numbers since this is a console vs PC and not an Xbox 360 vs PC debate.
Oh, we're comparing how many people have eaten apples and oranges, so let's add how many people have eaten fiji apples versus how many people have eaten any kind of orange!
Olol.No.We are comparing people who play Console (Xbox Live, PSN, Wii Online) to PC users.
But you're basically saying that we should compare one platform alone to 3 platforms. No I am saying we should compare console gaming to PC as the thread indicates.Steam isn't the whole PC gaming base, and many psn and nintendo wi-fi users are probably also steam users. Why would PSN and Nintendo Wi-Fi be on steam? And what else is the PC gaming base? Purchases from stores?
