PUBLIC RELEASE 1 DOWNLOAD: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/152517-break-less-2
Break-Less 2 is a game I have been developing since about September 24th, even though the changelog doesn't go that far back. :s

Anyways, Break-Less 2 is a brick breaker clone, except that it's "endless". By "endless" I mean that there is only one level. Yes, one level.
How can that be?
Well, the game starts you off in a room like this shown below:

Looks pretty basic, huh.

When the ball hits a brick(s) they will jump to a random position on the screen.
Eventually the game will look similar to this: (This was before I applied a background. :s)

That's pretty much how the game works, not really much to describe.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Wait, wait, wait. Why is it called Break-Less 2, and not Break-Less 1?
If you're interested, go here.

Keep in mind Version 6/PR6 of the game will not be released at that link. BL1 is actually going open source with PR5.5.
Yeah, I never finished PR6. And I don't plan on doing so.

You said "PR6". What does it mean?
PR- is the number of times it's been publicly updated as a stable release.
PR1 = Public Release 1
PR2 = Public Release 2
etc. etc.

What all are you using to create this?
FL Studio 9 (Sound)
    - 3xOsc plugin
GIMP 2.6 (Graphics)
Game Maker 8 Pro (Game Engine)
    - GM Bassmod Extension (XM, IT, MOD, S3M, and MO3 Playback)
    - SuperSound v1 Extension (OGG Playback)

Have you ever thought of integrating Steamworks into this?
I have. And I'm not, it just seems a bit too complicated.
If I did, I would hope it would be free. It's not your $40 game. More like $10, maybe $5.
Let's just say it's a simple game made by one person.

Is there in-game music? You never mentioned anything about it.
You can choose your own via the Options menu, or pressing the M key while playing.
It currently supports WAV, MP3, OGG, XM, IT, S3M, MOD, and MO3.

OTHER INFORMATION
I recommend you look at the "INFORMATION" section of the game first. It might help you some.

The game is only ~5MB at this point. Will it hit 6MB? I don't think it will.

.JPG/JPEG .PNG and .BMP are supported background formats.

Let me know what you guys think. Please.
