Yay!
Annnnnnnnd, if he posted that at 8:45 am about, that means he got back at about 2:45 pm, which was about an hour ago.
So we should be expecting this within the next hour or two, depending on if the set up is easy or not.

Still nothing?
I have to move a 3GB Windows image to the server on a 5mbps line.
80 minute process.

So that will be done in 80 minutes or did you start it before posting that?

Been about an hour and nothing?

It's probably not easy to set up. I wouldn't expect being able to get a windows OS onto a server using remote access would be easy at all. And after that he still has to set up the FTP tools and distribute the tools to all of us.

Still, it's been five hours from the last time we got any info.
An update would be nice.

I think we can assume that he has finished uploading, and now he has to set it up. So he's most likely currently setting up the windows OS.

Nah, the windows setup wouldn't have taken very long.

Hes probably looking at all the coolio and awesome tools he can use, and trying desperately how to get the computer to run multiple users at once.

Yeah, hard drives on Linux are 100x harder than Windows.

Try doing it 3500 miles away, too.

I got my hard drives under control, so tomorrow I can either use a VM for Windows or just use WINE for the time being.

I thought you were installing winserver 2003 on it...

I can use a WINE emulator for the time being.

I'll experiment with a VM as time moves on.
