TF2 - Prophunt.

Oh my god,i love this gamemode so much.

PropHunt is a gamemode where blue team (Mostly pyros,but i think other classes can be used,may be a specific class thing though.) hunt the red team (scouts that turn into props when the game starts)

The props have 1 minute to hide. The props are random i believe but some servers have a donation thing where donors can choose their props.

The red team has 3 minutes to find all the props.

Some props are good,some props are so horrible they get killed within the first minute (aka cow,frog).

The Pyros can sort of fly by aiming down with the flamethrower and jumping. This was made to counter the double jump ability which the props can use to get up really loving high.


LIKE,REALLY loving HIGH. A guy got all the way goddamn to the top of the map just by double jumping off of stuff.

Hiding places are almost everything.
If you don't have a good one,you're forgeted.
Don't choose one where people regularly hide (small piles of crates,wood.)
And mostly choose ones where there are buttloads of the same prop.

CP is even harder if you're not on a location over them.

Also,Flare Gun is awesome for this.

Plus I'm extra careful of them triggerhappies :C(because I play spy alot.)

forgot to mention one of my greatest hiding spots

I was a crate,and i ran into a storage room of sorts on a map,it had huge ass stacks of blue barrels and crates.

LIKE,EACH STACK HAD 40 PROPS,ALL THE SAME TYPE.

I hid on the top of one and was never found.

I hate it on GMOD when you are chosen to be something that doesn't fit in, like a companion cube, and the lucky duck who got picked to be the soda can is all "huehuehuehuehuehue" in his mile after he takes one look at you.

In Gmod I played Prop Hunt on Dust2, I shot an SMG grenade at a car and killed 3 props hiding in it.

Then again I remember being able to choose a prop in Gmod.

There is a mini one of these at the end of a round in a 2fort classic version 1 or 2 map. Except its not limited to the pyro, all classes can hunt props and the wining team gets to do so.
